    Ayurveda offers : Body Immunization, Body Sudation, Body slimming, Panchakarma Therapy, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Dhara, Vasthi, Shirovasthi Udvarthanam, Abyangam, Nasyam, Snehapanam and Kizhi.


    ·         Pizhichil

    Lukewarm herbal oil is dripped all over the body by trained technicians in a special rhythmic way for about 60-90 minutes

    Indications: Hemiplegia, Paralysis, rheumatic, complaints, joints stiffness, nervous disorders.

    ·         Njavarakizhi

    It is a process by which the whole body or any specific part thereof is made to perspire by the application of certain medicinal puddings externally in the firm of boluses tied up in a muslin bag.

    Indications: Loss of appetite, sluggishness, rheumatism, joint pains

    ·         Sirodhara

    In this process, herbal oil, medicated milk, medicated butter milk etc are poured on the fore head in a special way.

    Indications: Insomnia, stress, skin disorder, loss of memory.

    ·         Pizhichil

    Certain herbal oil, herbal extracts etc are applied through the rectum. Indications : Arthritis, Paralysis, numbness, gastric irritation, constipation.

    ·         Sirovasthi

    Special herbal oil is poured in a cap fitted on the head. Indications : Facial paralysis, headache, dryness of nostrils.

    ·         Kadeevasthi

    Warm medicated oil is kept over the lower back with a herbal paste boundary Indications : Back pain, Spinal disorders.

    ·         Urovasthi

    Warm medicated oil is kept over the chest with herbal paste boundary Indications : Asthma, other respiratory problem, muscular chest pain.

    ·         Nasyam

    Few drops of medicated oil is applied through nostrils. Indications : headache, sinusitis, certain mental disorders, skin disease, branchial neuralgia.

    ·         Dhanyamladhara

    Warm decoction is poured all over the body in a rythmic way. Indications : Arthritis, paralysis etc

    ·         Kizhi

    Herbal leaves or powders are applied to whole body in boluses after dipping in warm medicated oils.

    Indications: Arthritis, inflammatory condition, spondylosis

    ·         Ksheeradhoomam

    Inhalation of herbal decoction with milk as an ingredient Indications : facial paralysis, speech disorder, other nervous disorder on the face.
